At Rylander Elementary, we believe that through the collaborative work of heart by our staff and parents, every child can succeed. You can see this belief come to fruition every day in our students, evidenced by their pride in being a Rockin’ Rhino. You can witness this as they walk down our halls with confidence, dive into learning with curiosity, and model the 3 Rs (Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn) in the short- and long-term goals they set and achieve.

 

When building our Rylander Family, we look for more than just strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies. We look at the person and the love and passion they have for children and education. We search for teachers who truly understand the developmental needs of children, bring both flexibility and organization to their classroom, and never stop taking the lead in learning themselves. Most importantly, we want teachers who approach their work with a parent’s heart - committed to the idea that every child has the potential to grow and thrive and loving them unconditionally.

 

We are also so blessed by the support of our parents, community, and local businesses who join us in being the village for our students. Our amazing PTA works tirelessly to provide enrichment opportunities, professional learning for teachers, and resources that go straight into the classroom. Parents and volunteers generously give the gift of time through supporting the needs of the campus to provide opportunities that enrich our students’ learning experiences while being a partner with our staff to be the cheering party for our students. Their partnership is a valuable asset at Rylander Elementary in the providing a strong academic foundation for all students.
